The mountain
was never the point.

The Highest Ride is a documentary about what drives us to keep moving.

At 5,799 meters above sea level, downhill skateboarder Anna Pixner took on an extraordinary ride at Umling La Pass. But the road is only one part of the story.

FROM THE ALPS.
TO THE EDGE
OF THE SKY.

What began in Austria carried Anna and the crew across continents, through the Himalayas, and onto one extraordinary road.

THE BEGINNING

AUSTRIA.

The idea takes shape in the Alps. The journey starts long before the first flight.

THE
TRAINING.

Months of physical and mental preparation. Every climb, every run, every training session brings the goal closer.

A HISTORIC RIDE. A WORLD-RECORD ATTEMPT.

The road
less travelled.

On 23 June 2026, Anna Pixner became the first woman to skateboard down Umling La Pass, the highest paved road on Earth. The historic world-record attempt is complete. Official Guinness verification is pending.

Skateboarding
changed my life.
Now I want it to
help change
someone else's.

ANNA · THE EARLY DAYS

Anna grew up with a father living with schizophrenia. Skateboarding became a place of freedom and connection, shaping her belief that movement can help people feel less alone.

A MOVEMENTFOR MENTAL HEALTH.

Because no one should face those battles alone.

We want to turn the film's reach into meaningful support: opening conversations about mental health, supporting organisations doing vital work, and helping young people discover what movement can make possible.
